January comes & with it brings, SNOW, SIA & ART OF WINTER....
SIA & Art of Winter are rolling in! It’s getting to be that time of year with the SIA SnowShow around the corner and Art of Winter up and running to welcome the snow industry to Denver. Now in it’s fourth year, Art of Winter is the public complement to SIA, offering winter-enthused innovators and creatives an annual two-week run of snow-inspired exhibits, events and panel discussions throughout the Downtown Denver core. The calendar looks busy, but give a shot to hit all that you can because it won’t be back for another year. We’re happy to share a few of our must hits. Hope to see you around..
- Colorado Ski & Snowboard Makers Gallery at Row 14 Bistro & Wine Bar. Grab a drink and check out a few the latest ski and board designs from leading, as well as up and coming Colorado brands, including Never Summer, Folsom Skis, Icelantic Skis, Venture Snowboards, Grace Skis, The Powder Factory, Scotty Bob and more.
- An absolute can’t miss is an evening with Porter Fox and Conrad Anker talking climate change and disappearing snow on January 30. The DEEP-POW @ SIA event hosted at Battery621 featuring author and Powder Magazine Editor, Porter Fox and Conrad Anker, one of the most accomplished alpine climbers in the world today is sure to be a charged event.
- The anchor outdoor exhibit and a sentimental favorite of ours, is the Upcycled Ski & Snowboard Gallery on display on Denver’s Larimer Square. Stroll the block and check out original works by local artists created on repurposed skis and snowboards.
