A partner program of the Colorado Outdoor Recreation Industry Office, The Wright Challenge prepares Colorado higher-ed students to enter the workforce by providing first-hand experience working alongside businesses, non-profits, civic and governmental organizations to develop actionable solutions to current-day challenges within their respective organizations. The Wright Challenge seeks partners and challenges reflecting Colorado's essential and wide-ranging outdoor sector.

SUBMIT
We are currently seeking project proposals from business, nonprofit, civic and industry partners interested in working with highly-engaged student teams to solve for a current-day challenge facing your organization. Selected project partners will be paired with a team of students representing one of our academic partner programs and tasked with developing an actionable solution to your real-time, real-world outdoor sector challenge. The Wright Challenge runs 10-12 weeks over the Spring 2025 semester.

The Wright Challenge partners with academic programs across Colorado that are dedicated to cultivating talent for the outdoor recreation industry.
