SI is going... On The Road with the USPC

Intro BlogThe independent spirit of Colorado is alive and well. And what a better way to show it than going on the road with the USA Pro Challenge? Over the course of the seven stages of this year’s race, Something Independent will be on the ground talking to innovative businesses and entrepreneurs from Durango to Denver. We’ll look to get behind the scenes and beyond the bike with the likes of Osprey in Durango, Wagner Skis in Telluride, Montanya Distillers in Crested Butte, and Backbone Media in Aspen — just to name a few from the first legs of the Pro Challenge. We’ll be hearing from company founders about their latest and greatest products, and on topics such as the outdoor recreation economy and the continued growth of Colorado’s craft beer culture.Be sure to tune in for daily video features, company profiles, fan weather dispatches from ChanceOfWeather.com, photo galleries, Colorado beer reports from Crafting a Nation, plus some bonus coverage, if we can pull it all off!It all starts today. Truck is being loaded with S|I garage-studio and the Whole Foods Market trail mix bike. Drop by and see us at any of the finish stages. Anytime is good, but 5pm would be very good. We’ll be toasting each day to the independent spirt of each and every town along the road!Follow along with all the action on our Facebook Page. Hope you will join us. It’ sure to be a good ride. See you On the Road
